The FD/CMD-i placements must be made with new funds only i.e. funds not transferred from existing RHB accounts, failing which RHB reserves the right at its discretion to accord the Customer’s Campaign Rate with RHB prevailing three (3) months and six (6) months FD / CMD-i board rate. Customer is required to have a RHB Business Current Account (“CA”) or Commodity Murabahah Current Account-i (“CMCA-i”) for interest / profit crediting purpose. Interest/profit shall be paid upon maturity and the Customer must maintain an active CA/CMCA-i. Partial withdrawal is not allowed. In the event that Customer uplifts the FD/CMD-i before maturity, no interest/profit is to be paid on the FD/CMD-i placement uplifted before the completion of the FD/CMD-i tenure. This Campaign is available for placement made over the counter at any RHB Branches in Malaysia. Upon maturity of the FD/CMD-i i.e. after completion of three (3) months and six (6) months, the FD/CMD-i shall automatically be renewed to an ordinary FD/CMD-i with the same tenure at the prevailing board rate as per published in RHB Banking Group website. Notwithstanding the above, if the maturity date falls on a non-banking day, any renewal/disposal instructions by Customers will be carried out on the next banking day.
