Watch Chef Leah’s story, here.

This Chinese New Year, RHB celebrates with the people who help others overcome life’s many trials.

This auspicious festive season, we take the time to acknowledge the progress made by those who help others rise over challenges. Dubbed as the little chef with the big heart, Leah Choy is one such inspiring individual. Since the tender age of 4, she baked cupcakes to raise money for her sister, Adele’s treatment for a brain injury. Today at 10 years old, Leah is a recipient of the Tuanku Bainun Young Changemakers Award in 2015 and a celebrated baker who continues to make life a little better every day for her beloved sister.

Chef Leah's Motto

With my little sister needing help, giving up is not an option. It’s the love we share that gives me every reason to never, ever let go.
