set up your Treasure Jar

Once you've set up your Treasure Jar, you can choose to schedule your top‑up or do it manually.

Step 1

Log in to your RHB Mobile Banking App and go to the “Services” tab. Tap on “Treasure Jar”.

Step 2

Tap on “Create Jar”.
You can create up to 5 jars.

Step 3

Set your goal
and target to save.

Step 4

Link your Current or Savings Account/‑i.

Step 5

Your Treasure Jar is ready.

What is Treasure Jar?

Treasure Jar is a savings feature that helps you set aside money for a goal and track your progress over time.

Who is eligible to use Treasure Jar?

You must have an individual Current or Savings Account/‑i (CASA/‑i) with RHB to create and link a Treasure Jar.

How do I create a Treasure Jar?

Login to your RHB Mobile Banking App, Go to Services > Treasure Jar, create a jar, set your target amount and date, then link it to your Current or Savings Account/‑i (CASA/‑i).

Transacting with your Treasure Jar

How can I add money to my jar?

You can add money to your jar via two options:

Top up manually anytime (one‑off transaction)
Set a scheduled top‑up (automatic deduction) with weekly or monthly frequency based on your preference

Can I withdraw money from my jar?

Yes, you can either withdraw partial amount or full amount. Full amount withdrawal will automatically close the jar and you will no longer see your jar details on the app.

Can I have multiple jars?

Yes, you can create up to 5 treasure jars for different savings goals at a time.

Can I change my jar details?

Yes, you can edit your jar Category, Name, Target Amount and End Date between 6:01am - 11.54pm daily.

Can I stop my scheduled top‑up?

Yes, you can cancel or update your scheduled top-up between 6:01am - 11.54pm daily.

Why do I see multiple jar transactions in a jar statement?

Treasure Jar may reuse an existing account number. As a result, previous transaction history from an earlier jar may appear in the same statement, as the same account number is shared. This does not affect your current jar balance.

Will my statement show previous jar transactions?

Yes. Since the same account number is reused, your statement may include transactions from previous jars linked to that account.

When will my profit be credited?

Profit is calculated daily and will be displayed from the next day (T+1).
The actual crediting of profit will be done at the end of each month.

¹2.00%p.a. Profit Rate comprises a Base Rate of 0.25% p.a. and a Bonus Rate of 1.75% p.a. for customers who maintain a minimum monthly incremental fresh fund of RM500 in Treasure Jar during the Campaign Period. The Bonus Rate is applicable on Treasure Jar balances of up to RM10,000 per Eligible Participant per Campaign Month.

²Treasure Jar fresh funds are determined based on the increase in your total current and savings account/-i (“CASA/-I”) Monthly Average Balance (“MAB”) compared with the higher of your previous month's total CASA/-i MAB or the July 2026 baseline. Total CASA/-i MAB refers to the combined MAB maintained in your RHB CASA/-i, including the MAB of any Treasure Jar(s). If you have more than one (1) CASA/-i (where you are the primary CASA/-i holder), the MAB of each CASA/-i and its associated Treasure Jar(s) will be summed to determine your total CASA/-i MAB. MAB is the average of your daily end-of-day balances during the Campaign Month.

³Entries are earned based on the Treasure Jar balance if the Treasure Jar balance is lower than or equal to the total CASA/-i incremental growth against the July 2026 balance. Otherwise, the entries will be based on the incremental growth in the total CASA/-i balance.

⁴There will be three (3) monthly winners each month. Each winner will receive a cash reward equivalent to their Treasure Jar balance, provided that the Treasure Jar balance is lower than or equal to the total CASA/-i incremental growth against the July 2026 balance. Otherwise, the cash reward will be based on the incremental growth in the total CASA/-i balance, subject to a maximum reward of RM20,000 per winner. Each winner may win a maximum of two (2) times during the Campaign Period.
