  • A passbook based Savings Account for Adult & Children
Eligibility
  • Individuals aged 18 and above
  • Children aged 12 years old and above
  • Trustees, societies, clubs, associations and other non-business organizations

  • Interest is calculated daily and credited half-yearly
  • No minimum amount required to earn interest

  • Lost passbook replacement - service charge of BND15.00 and stamp duty on indemnity of BND0.50

Fixed Deposits account



Overview
  • Fixed Deposit (FD) is a placement of funds, which yields interest at a rate, which is fixed for the tenure or duration of placement
 Eligibility
  • Individuals, sole proprietorships, firms, societies, associations, financial institutions, government institutions, business enterprises
 Minimum Deposit / Placement
  • BND1,000 for FD Tenor of 3,6,9,12 months
  • BND5,000 for FD Tenor of 1 month
 Tenure
  • 1 month to 12 months
 Minimum Balance in account
  • N/A
 Premature Withdrawal
  • Where an FD is uplifted before maturity, the following apply:
 Contracted Tenure Upliftment   Interest
 1-12 months > 1 mths  Penalty of 1% interest 
 1-12 months  < 1 mths No interest will be paid

Overdraft


Overview
  • Financing for business working capital. With overdraft, customer can have easy access to extra funds as and when needed. 
    Interest is calculated on amount utilized.

Housing Loans

Overview
  • Financing for the purchase of residential property
Eligibility
  • Individual
Margin of Financing/Loan amount
  • Maximum 80% of the open market value of the property charged
Loan Tenure
  • Maximum 25 years or up to age 60 of the borrower, whichever is earlier
Processing Fee
  • Min BND350-00 or 0.05%
Interest Charges
  • EIR 4.50% p.a.

  • Prepayment Fees:
    • Full Prepayment - Loan paid up to 5 years is 3.00% of outstanding balance
    • Partial Prepayment - Full 3 months interest charge

 

  • Amendment/Restructure/Top up Fee - 0.05% min. BND200

 

  • Cancellation Fee - 0.05% of outstanding balance or min. BND300

 

  • Request for Certificate of Balance (COB) - BND30

 

  • Request for Clearance Letter - BND30
