You may apply for Multi Currency Acount/-i online via our RHB Mobile Banking application.

You must be a Malaysia citizen over 18 years old with RHB Mobile Banking Application, with eligible Current Account / Savings Account/-i.

The Multi Currentcy Account/-i online account opening service will be made available on our RHB Mobile Banking Application from 7am-11pm, seven (7) days a week, unless specified otherwise.

Currently, it is only for individual applicant.

You may proceed to the nearest RHB branch to open a Multi Currency Account/-i for joint applicant.

Once you have successfully completed and open your Multi Currency Account/-i online, your Multi Currency Visa Debit Card/-i will be mailed to your preferred home or office address that you have selected during the application process. You can expect to receive your card within 4-9 working days.

At this moment, it is only applicable for Malaysian Citizen with MyKad holder.

You may proceed to the nearest RHB branch to open a Multi Currency Account/-i for passport holder.

There are two type of Multi Currency Accounts available for online account opening:
a) RHB Multi Currency Account
b) RHB Commodity Murabahah Multi Currency Account-i

You may receive this message due to the below reasons:
• Your current account/-i or savings account/-i is not an individual account.
• Your current account/-i or savings account/-i is not active.
• Your current account/-i or savings account/-i is not eligible to be linked with Multi Currency Account/-i that you would like to apply.
• Your current account/-i or savings account/-i does not match with the same entity of the Multi Current Account/-i that you would like to apply.
For example: You have an active Islamic Saving Account and you would like to apply RHB Multi Currency account.

If you do not have the below CASA accounts, you may proceed to open it via online(Deposit Account) and then proceed with your Multi Currency Account-i account opening.

b) RHB Max Save
c) RHB Smart Account-i
d) RHB Saving Account-i

You may proceed to the nearest RHB branch to open a Multi Currency Account/-i.

No, you cannot apply via online if you already have an active existing Multi Currency Account/-i.

Your new Multi Currency Account/-i will be created and you may start buying any of the supported foreign currencies.
