Over The Counter Letter of Credit

If you do not have a facility with RHB Bank but require a Letter of Credit (LC) fast and have the cash to make a deposit, we will be able to issue the LC over the counter to meet your business requirements. This is a one-off facility secured against 100% Fixed Deposit or cash margin in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) or in foreign currency for the full LC amount plus variance / tolerance.

  • New and existing Buyers or Sellers.

Letter of Credit

  • New and existing Buyers who have been granted with Letter of Credit (LC) facility.

Over The Counter Letter of Credit

  • RHB Bank’s existing borrowing and non-borrowing corporate, commercial and individual customers.
  • New/walk-in corporate and commercial customers.

Transferable Letter of Credit

  • Existing customers of the bank who are the first beneficiary of the Transferable Letter of Credit (TLC). No credit facility is required.

Back to Back Letter of Credit

  • Customers who are seller and as a middleman, where they are the named beneficiary in the master Letter of Credit.

Bank Guarantee

  • New and existing customers who have been granted the Bank Guarantee (BG) facility.

Over The Counter Bank Guarantee

  • Existing borrowing or non-borrowing customers under consumer, commercial or corporate.

Standby Letter of Credit

  • New and existing customers who have been granted the Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) facility.

Letter of Credit Advising

  • New and existing Sellers.

Assignment of Proceeds

  • New and existing Exporters. No credit facility is required.
