NURJESMI BIN MOHD NASHIR

Nurjesmi Bin Mohd Nashir ("Mr. Nurjesmi") was appointed as the Non-Independent Non-Executive Director/Chairman of RHB Bank Lao Sole Co., Ltd (RHBBLL) on 21 January 2026.
Nurjesmi was appointed as Managing Director, Group Wholesale Banking on 1 July 2025. With over 30 years of experience in banking and capital markets, Nurjesmi brings deep expertise across the breadth of flow and episodic products within corporate and investment banking.
Prior to joining RHB Group, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad. His leadership journey includes over nine years (2014 to 2023) as the Executive Director, Head of Corporate Bank at JP Morgan Chase Bank Berhad. Prior to that he spent 17 years in successive senior roles at Citibank Berhad from 1996 to 2013, covering key clients segments such as SME, large corporations and public sector. He is known for his strong track record in driving growth, improving performance and reinforcing market presence.
Nurjesmi holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Syracuse University, New York and a Diploma in Business Studies from MARA University of Technology (UiTM). He also served as an Independent Board Member of Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad (PUNB) from 2018 to 2023.
Danny Quah Boon Leng
Non-Independent Non-Executive Deputy Chairman
Mr. Danny Quah Boon Leng (“Mr. Danny”) was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank Lao Sole Co., Ltd. on 30 September 2024.
On 21 January 2026, Mr. Danny was appointed as the Independent Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of RHBBLL, Chairman of Board Risk Committee and Member of Board Audit Committee.
Mr. Danny was appointed as Managing Director, Group International Business on 1 April 2025. His responsibilities include driving the growth and performance of RHB's international operations across multiple countries, including Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Brunei. Aside from driving growth, he is also committed to strategically executing initiatives to capitalize on regional opportunities and effectively navigate the complexities of diverse market challenges.
Prior to this, Danny joined RHB Singapore as CEO and Country Head in February 2019, and leads the formulation and execution of business strategy for the overall Singapore business, covering Commercial Banking, Investment Banking and Asset Management. Danny was also responsible for driving profitability and growth of the businesses in Singapore and collaboration across the region, working closely with other businesses within the Group to maximise opportunities and synergies.
He has almost 30 years of experience in the banking sector, holding various senior positions with multinational organisations such as Standard Chartered Bank, Fullerton Credit Services and Canadia Bank, across five countries in the Asia Pacific region. This includes more than 10 years of experience in CEO and Country Head positions.
He holds a Bachelor in Information System Engineering from the Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine (London).
Chin Yoong Kheong
Independent Non-Executive Director
Chin Yoong Kheong ("Mr. Chin") was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank Lao Sole Co., Ltd (RHBBLL) on 22 July 2019. He is also the Chairman of Board Audit Committee, Member of The Board Nominating & Remuneration (Governance) Committee and Board Risk Committee.
Mr. Chin holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics from the University of Leeds and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Mr. Chin has retired as a partner of KPMG, one of the leading accounting firms on 31 December 2013, after having served the firm for more than 34 years in the United Kingdom, Vietnam and Malaysia. Mr. Chin's vast experience covers business solutions in areas such as strategy, human resources, performance improvement to the public and infrastructure sector, consumer and industrial markets, and financial services industry. Throughout his long career with KPMG, Mr. Chin’s experience was in the audit function before specializing in taxation for 14 years. He was responsible for setting up the KPMG practice in Vietnam and subsequently headed KPMG's consulting practice for more than 7 years.
LIM CHENG TECK
Independent Non-Executive Director
Lim Cheng Teck ("Mr. Lim") was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHBBLL on 23 February 2023. He is the Chairman of the Board Nominating & Remuneration (Governance) Committee, Member of Board Risk Committee and Member of Board Audit Committee.
Mr. Lim is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank Berhad and the Chairman of the Board Credit Committee.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from Brunel University, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore.
Mr. Lim was the Regional Chief Executive Officer for ASEAN at Standard Chartered Bank. He first joined Standard Chartered Bank in 1988 and has held various roles within the bank’s Corporate and Institutional Banking Division before being appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for Standard Chartered Bank (China) Ltd in 2005. In 2006, he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Ltd. He returned to China in 2009 to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (China) Ltd. He has served on several Standard Chartered Bank subsidiary boards notably as the Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (Mauritius) Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank (Thailand) Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Ltd, the Deputy Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (Malaysia) Ltd and the President Commissioner of PT Bank Permata, Indonesia. He has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) Ltd.
He has previously served as a Director on the Boards of Clifford Capital Pte Ltd and Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, a Governor of Singapore International Foundation and a Council Member of the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore and Singapore National Employers Federation.
Additionally, he was the Chairman of Overseas Financial Service Commission, China Chamber of Commerce, the Vice Chairman of the Association of Banks Singapore and a Member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Financial Centre Development Committee. Having served in the banking arena for over 28 years, Mr. Lim retired from Standard Chartered Bank in April 2016 and continued as a senior advisor on a non-executive role till April 2017.
Further, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Pontiac Land Group from March 2017 to May 2018 and he completed his 12-year term with the Advisory Board of Sim Kee Boon Institute of Financial Economics, Singapore Management University in 2021. Currently, he sits on the Boards of Minterest Holdings Pte Ltd and Bright Vision Community Hospital, Singapore.
Kevin Vijendren Davies
Non-Independent Non-Executive Director
Kevin Vijendren Davies ("Mr. Kevin") was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of RHBBLL and member of the Board Nominating & Remuneration (Governance) Committee on 21 January 2026.
Mr. Kevin was appointed as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of RHB Investment Bank Berhad (RHB Investment Bank) on 1 August 2024. In this role, Kevin is responsible for spearheading the Group’s Investment Banking businesses in Malaysia and the region with the aim of growing and delivering shareholder returns by achieving financial targets, ensuring operational excellence and expanding the RHB Investment Bank franchise and wholesale business. In addition, he oversees the Asset Management business to enhance collaboration and drive synergies across investment-related activities.
Prior to joining RHB Investment Bank, Kevin held various senior leadership roles in Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (Maybank IB), including Head, Investment Banking & Advisory and Managing Director, Client Coverage.
Kevin began his career at Ernst & Young in 1998. He joined Maybank IB in 2000, where he held senior roles in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking Advisory and Client Coverage.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Kent, United Kingdom (UK) as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Business from the University of Strathclyde, UK. In addition, Kevin is a Chartered Banker with the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers and he is licensed by the Securities Commission as a Capital Markets Services Representative.
Edward Chiam Tau Yu
Chief Executive Officer / Non-Independent Executive Director
Edward brings with him over 18 years of experience in the banking industry, with deep expertise across Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, Credit Management, Loan Recovery, and strategic turnarounds.
He was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of RHB Bank Lao Sole Co., Ltd, effective 1st August 2025. In this role, Edward is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall management of the Bank’s operations in Lao PDR. He works closely with the Board of Directors and key stakeholders to drive sustainable growth, strengthen governance, and deliver value to shareholders in alignment with the Group’s regional aspirations.
Prior to this appointment, Edward served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer from 1st October 2024, where he oversaw key functions including Credit Management, Loan Recovery, Banking Operations, Procurement, and Information Technology. He played an instrumental role in co-managing business activities, with a strong focus on enhancing strategic initiatives and maximizing shareholder returns.
Edward was initially seconded to RHB Bank Lao on 1st January 2022 as Head of Loan Recovery, where he successfully established the department and introduced robust methodologies, policies, and procedures. His initiatives significantly improved asset quality, operational efficiency, and contributed meaningfully to the Bank’s profitability and financial standing.
Prior to his secondment to Lao PDR, Edward held the position of Head of Commercial Business Banking Centre at RHB Banking Group in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from July 2017 to December 2021, where he led teams delivering business banking solutions to commercial clients.
Edward holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computing from the University of Greenwich (2004) and was accredited with the Certificate in Commercial Credit (CICC) by Moody’s Analytics in 2019.

PEM KHAMMOUNGKHOUN
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Pem brings over 16 years of experience in the banking and financial markets industry, with strong expertise in finance and accounting. He joined RHB Bank Laos as Head of Finance and Administration in November 2024, where he was responsible for the full spectrum of accounting, financial planning, and treasury functions.
He holds an International Master of Business Administration from the National Academy of Politics and Public Administration, Laos (NAPPA), and is a Lao Certified Professional Accountant (Lao CPA).
As Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Pem supports the CEO in overseeing the Bank’s business activities in line with the Group’s strategic goals and objectives. He is responsible for driving operational efficiency and effective cost management across key support functions, including Finance, Operations, IT and Procurement.
Azinoor Azima
Head, Human Resources and Training
Azinoor Azima holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
With over 20 years of experience in human resources, Azinoor has built strong expertise in various HR functions, including talent management, succession planning, learning and development, and talent acquisition. Throughout her career at RHB Bank Bhd, she has held several key positions, such as Senior Specialist in Talent Management, Program Leader for Learning Experience at RHB Academy, and Team Leader in Talent Acquisition.
In this role, Azinoor is responsible for planning and executing HR initiatives aligned with the Bank's business strategy. She collaborates with strategic partners to implement key HR projects in Laos and leverages her experience to develop a skilled workforce that supports the Bank's growth.
PHANNAVY ANOULACK
Head, Credit Evaluation Department
Phannavy has over 16 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, she has gained extensive expertise in both Banking Operations and Credit Departments. Currently, she serves as the Head of Credit Evaluation Department, where she oversees a team responsible for assessing creditworthiness, analyzing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
In her role, Phannavy is accountable for developing credit evaluation strategies, implementing risk management frameworks, and making key decisions on credit approvals. She works closely with senior management to optimize processes and improve the overall efficiency of the credit evaluation system, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Her leadership also includes mentoring and training staff, and driving improvements in operational performance.
She holds a Diploma, majoring in English Language from Universal English Institute and she has attended numerous training programs and workshops related to credit evaluation, risk management, and financial analysis. These training experiences have further enhanced her knowledge and expertise, enabling her to apply the latest industry practices and strategies to driving her team's success and the organization's growth

As the Head of Credit Operations, Phetsamone Phasavat leads the bank’s credit operational and administrative functions with a strong commitment to efficiency, compliance, and process enhancement. With over a decade of experience in banking credit, she has expertise spanning loan origination, disbursement, legal documentation, and security handling.
Phetsamone has played a pivotal role in spearheading multiple key projects aimed at optimizing the bank’s systems and workflows. Her leadership ensures seamless loan processing, adherence to regulatory requirements, and continuous improvements in credit operations, contributing to the bank’s overall effectiveness.
She holds a Bachelor of Education from the National University of Laos, complemented by a Certificate in Accounting..
Phoonlome SRIVIENGPHANOM
Head, Information Technology
Phoonlome Sriviengphanom has over 11 years of experience in the banking technology sector, holding various leadership roles in technology management. His expertise spans system implementation, IT project management, and strategic IT operations.
As the Head of Information Technology, he oversees the IT department, ensuring operational efficiency across key areas such as strategic IT planning, infrastructure management, security and risk management, budgeting and cost control, vendor and stakeholder management, and delivering technological solutions that align with the organization’s business objectives.
Phoonlome holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, and a Master of Engineering in Computer Networks from the National University of Laos.

Somphavanh has a total of more than 10 years of working experience in the Financial Services Industry and with significant exposure in accounting, business development, branch management and credit administration.
Somphavanh has completed three certificates from Omega Performance (a globally recognized credit certification) including Credit Skills Assessment, Financial Accounting for Lenders & Commercial Loans to Business.
As the Head, Operations and Support, Somphavanh will be responsible for the overall branch operations and frontline service of RHB Bank Lao Sole Co.,Ltd.
Vilayvanh Luangmounninithone
Head, Compliance
Vilayvanh Luangmounninithone brings over 14 years of experience in auditing, finance, accounting, taxation and compliance. She has strong expertise in regulatory compliance, particularly in AML/CFT and KYC within the commercial banking sector.
As Head of Compliance, Vilayvanh is responsible for overseeing the bank’s compliance functions, including AML/CFT enhancements. She works closely with Group Compliance, Group AML, the Board Risk Committee and the Board of Directors to promote a strong compliance culture across the organization, including delivering training on AML/CFT matters.
Vilayvanh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political and Government Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Mandarin Chinese from the National University of Laos. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), accredited by the Lao Chamber of Professional Accountants and Auditors (LCPAA) in 2022.

LIM CHENG TECK

Lim Cheng Teck ("Mr. Lim") was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHBBLL on 23 February 2023. He is the Chairman of the Board Nominating & Remuneration (Governance) Committee, Member of Board Risk Committee and Member of Board Audit Committee.
Mr. Lim is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank Berhad and the Chairman of the Board Credit Committee.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from Brunel University, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore.
Mr. Lim was the Regional Chief Executive Officer for ASEAN at Standard Chartered Bank. He first joined Standard Chartered Bank in 1988 and has held various roles within the bank’s Corporate and Institutional Banking Division before being appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for Standard Chartered Bank (China) Ltd in 2005. In 2006, he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Ltd. He returned to China in 2009 to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (China) Ltd. He has served on several Standard Chartered Bank subsidiary boards notably as the Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (Mauritius) Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank (Thailand) Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Ltd, the Deputy Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (Malaysia) Ltd and the President Commissioner of PT Bank Permata, Indonesia. He has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) Ltd.
He has previously served as a Director on the Boards of Clifford Capital Pte Ltd and Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, a Governor of Singapore International Foundation and a Council Member of the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore and Singapore National Employers Federation.
Additionally, he was the Chairman of Overseas Financial Service Commission, China Chamber of Commerce, the Vice Chairman of the Association of Banks Singapore and a Member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Financial Centre Development Committee. Having served in the banking arena for over 28 years, Mr. Lim retired from Standard Chartered Bank in April 2016 and continued as a senior advisor on a non-executive role till April 2017.
Further, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Pontiac Land Group from March 2017 to May 2018 and he completed his 12-year term with the Advisory Board of Sim Kee Boon Institute of Financial Economics, Singapore Management University in 2021. Currently, he sits on the Boards of Minterest Holdings Pte Ltd and Bright Vision Community Hospital, Singapore.
Chin Yoong Kheong

Chin Yoong Kheong ("Mr. Chin") was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank Lao Sole Co., Ltd (RHBBLL) on 22 July 2019. He is also the Chairman of Board Audit Committee, Member of The Board Nominating & Remuneration (Governance) Committee and Board Risk Committee.
Mr. Chin holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics from the University of Leeds and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Mr. Chin has retired as a partner of KPMG, one of the leading accounting firms on 31 December 2013, after having served the firm for more than 34 years in the United Kingdom, Vietnam and Malaysia. Mr. Chin's vast experience covers business solutions in areas such as strategy, human resources, performance improvement to the public and infrastructure sector, consumer and industrial markets, and financial services industry. Throughout his long career with KPMG, Mr. Chin’s experience was in the audit function before specializing in taxation for 14 years. Danny Quah Boon Leng

Mr. Danny Quah Boon Leng (“Mr. Danny”) was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank Lao Sole Co., Ltd. on 30 September 2024.
On 21 January 2026, Mr. Danny was appointed as the Independent Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of RHBBLL, Chairman of Board Risk Committee and Member of Board Audit Committee.
Mr. Danny was appointed as Managing Director, Group International Business on 1 April 2025. His responsibilities include driving the growth and performance of RHB's international operations across multiple countries, including Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Brunei. Aside from driving growth, he is also committed to strategically executing initiatives to capitalize on regional opportunities and effectively navigate the complexities of diverse market challenges.
Prior to this, Danny joined RHB Singapore as CEO and Country Head in February 2019, and leads the formulation and execution of business strategy for the overall Singapore business, covering Commercial Banking, Investment Banking and Asset Management. Danny was also responsible for driving profitability and growth of the businesses in Singapore and collaboration across the region, working closely with other businesses within the Group to maximise opportunities and synergies.
He has almost 30 years of experience in the banking sector, holding various senior positions with multinational organisations such as Standard Chartered Bank, Fullerton Credit Services and Canadia Bank, across five countries in the Asia Pacific region. This includes more than 10 years of experience in CEO and Country Head positions.
He holds a Bachelor in Information System Engineering from the Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine (London).
