Tan Sri Ahmad Badri Mohd Zahir ("Tan Sri Ahmad Badri") was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director/Deputy Chairman and formalised as Chairman of RHB Bank on 16 November 2020 and 24 March 2021, respectively.
Tan Sri Ahmad Badri holds a Degree in Land and Property Management, MARA University of Technology and Master in Business Administration, University of Hull, United Kingdom.
Tan Sri Ahmad Badri started his career as a Senior Valuation Executive at C.H. Williams, Talhar & Wong Sdn Bhd prior to his appointment as the Assistant Secretary in the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance in 1989 where he served for nearly 30 years in various capacities, the last being the Secretary General of Treasury.
Tan Sri Ahmad Badri was appointed as the Chairman of the Employees Provident Fund on 1 May 2020. He has sat on the EPF Investment Panel since 2014 and is vastly experienced in the fields of strategic investment, loan management, financial market and actuarial science.
Tan Sri Ahmad Badri previously served on the Boards of Bank Negara Malaysia, Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan), Permodalan Nasional Berhad and Tenaga Nasional Berhad, amongst others.

Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat @ Wong Joo Hwa ("Tan Sri Ong") was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 20 November 2012. He also serves as a Member of the Board Credit Committee.
Tan Sri Ong holds a Capital Markets and Services Representative's licence issued by the Securities Commission of Malaysia under the Capital Markets and Services Act, 2007 for dealing in securities. Tan Sri Ong was a Director of MESDAQ from July 1999 to March 2002 and a member of the Capital Market Advisory Council appointed by the Securities Commission in 2004 to advise on issues relating to the implementation of the Capital Market Master Plan. He was a director on the Board of Bursa Malaysia Berhad from 2008 to 2015 and was previously a member of the Securities Market Consultative Panel of Bursa Malaysia.
For over 17 years since 1969, Tan Sri Ong was attached to a leading financial institution where he last held the position of Senior General Manager. He was the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of OSK Investment Bank Berhad (now known as OSKIB Sdn Bhd) from July 1985 to January 2007 and thereafter was appointed as the Group Managing Director/CEO. He was then re-designated as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director and subsequently resigned on 30 April 2013.

Tan Sri Dr Rebecca Fatima Sta Maria (“Tan Sri Dr Rebecca”) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 1 August 2016. She was subsequently re-designated as a Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 1 October 2018. She also serves as the Chairperson of the Board Nominating & Remuneration Committee.
Tan Sri Dr Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature from University of Malaya. She also holds a Diploma in Public Administration from National Institute of Public Administration (“INTAN”), M.S. in Counselling from Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (now known as Universiti Putra Malaysia) and a Ph.D from University of Georgia in Athens, USA.
Tan Sri Dr Rebecca was previously the Secretary General of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (“MITI”). She began her career in the Administrative and Diplomatic Service in 1981 and served in various capacities in the then Ministry of Trade and Industry. In 1988, she was seconded to the ASEAN Plant Quarantine and Training Centre as its Chief Administration and Procurement Officer. She also served as the Senior Project Coordinator at the Leadership Centre, INTAN from 2000 to 2002. She also served at various divisions in MITI namely, Senior Director of the Investment Policy Division, Director of the Investment Policy and Manufacturing Related Services Division and Director of the Strategic Planning Division before she became the MITI Deputy Secretary General of Trade. She was then involved in handling trade related matters of the Ministry, including administering Malaysia’s interests under bilateral and regional Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), as well as Malaysia’s engagements in various international organisations such as ASEAN, APEC and WTO. After 35 years in civil service, serving six trade ministers and overseeing twelve trade pacts, she retired as the Secretary General of the MITI in July 2016. She is now the Executive Director of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Secretariat based in Singapore.

Ong Ai Lin ("Ms Ong") was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank Berhad on 1 July 2017. She also serves as the Chairperson of the Board Audit Committee and a Member of the Board Risk Committee.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. She is an Associate of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She is also a Certified Information System Auditor and a Certified Business Continuity Professional.
Ms Ong began her career with Deloitte Haskins & Sells (DH&S) in London in 1978, prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) in 1991 as Senior Manager. At PwC, she built the IT audit practice, an integral part of the firm’s financial audit services. She was then appointed as Partner/Senior Executive Director of PwC in 1993 and was the Business Continuity Management and Information Security Practice Leader for PwC Malaysia. She is also the Past President of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) – Malaysia Chapter.
Ms Ong has over 30 years of experience in providing Business Continuity Management, Governance Risk and Compliance, Information Security, Cyber Security, Technology Risk and Governance, and Data Privacy services in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Her extensive experience includes collaboration with regulators, government ministries and agencies, organisations in various sectors encompassing financial services, telecommunications and multimedia, energy, capital markets, transportation, aviation, manufacturing & trading, cyber security, provident fund and sovereign fund as well as non-governmental organisations.
Her knowledge and experience earned her the Best Certified Business Continuity Professional in Malaysia in their inaugural award in 2012 by Disaster Recovery Institute International. She was also awarded the Cybersecurity Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018 by CyberSecurity Malaysia.

LIM CHENG TECK
Independent Non-Executive Director
Lim Cheng Teck ("Mr Lim") was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank Berhad on 28 November 2018. He also serves as a Member of the Board Credit Committee and Board Risk Committee.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from Brunel University, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore.
Mr Lim was the Regional Chief Executive Officer for ASEAN at Standard Chartered Bank. He first joined Standard Chartered Bank in 1988 and has held various roles within the bank’s Corporate and Institutional Banking Division before being appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for Standard Chartered Bank (China) Ltd in 2005. In 2006, he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Ltd. He returned to China in 2009 to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (China) Ltd. He has served on several Standard Chartered Bank subsidiary boards notably as the Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (Mauritius) Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank (Thailand) Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Ltd, the Deputy Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (Malaysia) Ltd and the President Commissioner of PT Bank Permata, Indonesia. He has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) Ltd.
He has previously served as a Director on the Boards of Clifford Capital Pte Ltd and Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, a Governor of Singapore International Foundation and a Council Member of the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore and Singapore National Employers Federation. Additionally, he was the Chairman of Overseas Financial Service Commission, China Chamber of Commerce, the Vice Chairman of the Association of Banks Singapore and a Member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Financial Centre Development Committee. Having served in the banking arena for over 28 years, Mr Lim retired from Standard Chartered Bank in April 2016 and continued as a senior advisor on a non-executive role till April 2017. Further, he had a short stint of service as the Chief Executive Officer of Pontiac Land Group from March 2017 to May 2018.
Currently, he sits on the Advisory Board of Sim Kee Boon Institute of Financial Economics, Singapore Management University as well as the Boards of Minterest Holdings Pte Ltd and Bright Vision Community Hospital, Singapore.

SHARIFATU LAILA SYED ALI

Sharifatu Laila Syed Ali ("Puan Sharifa”) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 15 March 2019.
Puan Sharifa graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Malaya. She is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Programme.
Puan Sharifa has extensive experience in the field of investment management and portfolio investing having served various premier institutions and government linked investment funds over a period of more than 30 years. She had played a key role in the setting up of Valuecap Sdn Bhd (“Valuecap”), a Government led initiative, whose founding shareholders are Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Kumpulan Wang Amanah Pencen and Permodalan Nasional Berhad (“PNB”). Puan Sharifa began her career at PNB and subsequently moved on to hold various senior leadership positions at the Employees Provident Fund including Head of Treasury & Equity Markets, gaining broad exposure within the domestic and regional capital markets environment over a period of 15 years. Following a brief period as Head of Investments at the Pilgrims Fund, she was subsequently appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Valuecap in October 2002. She became Group Chief Executive Officer of Valuecap in 2015. Under her stewardship, the Group spearheaded the country’s move into new frontiers within the domestic markets, including launching Malaysia’s first Exchange Traded Fund (Ringgit & USD) and various Environmental, Social & Governance (“ESG”) type Funds.
Pursuant to her departure from Valuecap, she served as an Advisor to the Board of Directors of Valuecap for a short period.

Dato’ Mohamad Nasir Ab Latif ("Dato’ Mohamad Nasir") was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of RHB Islamic Bank Berhad on 2 May 2020 and re-designated as a Chairman at the Annual General Meeting on 28 May 2020.
Dato’ Mohamad Nasir graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (Economics) from Universiti Sains Malaysia and subsequently obtained a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He also holds a Master of Science in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling, United Kingdom.
Dato’ Mohamad Nasir started his career with the Employees Provident Fund Board in 1982 and held several positions including State Enforcement Officer (1990 to 1995), Senior Research Officer, Manager and Senior Manager in the Investment and Economics Research Department (1995 to 2003) and General Manager of the International Equity Investment Department (July 2009 to 2013). He was last appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Investment) in 2013 and retained this position until his retirement in December 2019.

Mr Donald holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) from the University of Malaya and is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He also holds a Master in Business Administration from the Cranfield School of Management, United Kingdom and is an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School.
He is a Fellow Chartered Banker and serves as a Council Member of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers and the Chairman of its Education Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Asian Banking School and the Chairman of its Talent Development Committee. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Finance Accreditation Agency Berhad.
Mr Donald has had a fulfilling career with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) for 36 years, rising to the rank of Assistant Governor, with key responsibilities over the financial stability function, including oversight of BNM’s Financial Stability Report. His work experience included leadership and management oversight over the supervision and regulation of the banking and insurance industry in Malaysia, training and development activities with the banking and insurance institutes, and serving as country representative in international supervisory bodies.
He also held previous positions as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Chairman of the Board Executive Committee of the Malaysian Insurance Institute, Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Member of the Malaysian Financial Reporting Foundation.

Datuk Iain John Lo (“Datuk Iain”) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 15 September 2020. He also serves as a Member of the Board Nominating & Remuneration Committee and Board Audit Committee.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (“UCLA”). He also holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from UCLA.
Datuk Iain retired as the Country Chairman of Shell Malaysia Limited on 31 March 2021. He is a proven leader who has extensive experience and held a broad range of roles over the past 30 years in Shell’s exploration and production, gas and downstream businesses both in Malaysia as well as abroad.
He joined Sarawak Shell Berhad as a Field Engineer in 1990 before moving on to undertake various engineering, business development and corporate roles based in Malaysia, Singapore and Netherlands. His areas of responsibilities included governance of LNG and Chemicals joint ventures in Malaysia, Middle East, China and Russia. He was appointed as a Board Director of Singapore’s Economic Development Board in 2009 and served till 2012 when he returned to Malaysia as Chairman and Managing Director of Sarawak Shell Berhad and Sabah Shell Petroleum.

Group Managing Director/Group Chief Executive Officer
Dato' Khairussaleh Ramli ("Dato' Khairussaleh") was appointed as Managing Director of RHB Bank Berhad and Deputy Group Managing Director of RHB Banking Group on 13 December 2013. He was further appointed as Group Managing Director/Group Chief Executive Officer of RHB Banking Group on 5 May 2015.
Dato' Khairussaleh holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University, St. Louis and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Programme, Harvard Business School. He is also a Fellow Chartered Banker of Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers.
Dato' Khairussaleh has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services and capital markets industry, where he has held senior positions in well-established regional financial institutions. He is also a Council member of The Association of Banks in Malaysia and Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers.
His knowledge and experience earned him the "Best CFO in Malaysia Award" in 2010 and 2011 from Finance Asia and the "Best CFO in Malaysia Award" in 2012 from Alpha Southeast Asia.

MR JAHANATH MUTHUSAMY
Independent Non-Executive Chairman
Mr Jahanath Muthusamy (Mr Jahanath) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Insurance Berhad on 1 November 2016 and was subsequently appointed as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director on 1 January 2018. On 28 May 2020, Mr Jahanath was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Chairman of RHB Insurance Berhad. He also serves as a Member of the Board Risk Committee of RHB Insurance Berhad.
Mr Jahanath has over 40 years’ experience, having joined the insurance industry in 1975. During this period, he was actively involved in the Insurance Institutes and Insurance Associations of both Malaysia and Indonesia serving in various capacities. In 2002, Mr Jahanath was seconded to PT Assuransi AXA as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a member of the Board of Directors. He returned to AXA Affin General Insurance Malaysia at the end of 2006 and assumed the role of CEO and a member of the Board of Directors until his retirement in October 2012. He remained on the board of PT Assuransi AXA until 2012. From 2013 to 2015, he was appointed as a Senior Advisor to Solution Providers Pte Ltd, a Swiss insurance solution provider/consultant based in Singapore.
Mr Jahanath is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, United Kingdom and Malaysian Insurance Institute, Malaysia.

Ms Wong Pek Yee (Ms Wong) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Insurance Berhad on 1 November 2018 and was subsequently appointed as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director on 28 May 2020. She also serves as Chairperson of the Board Risk Committee and Member of the Investment Committee of RHB Insurance Berhad.
Ms Wong holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Accounting (Honours) from The University of Hull, United Kingdom. She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Ms Wong has over 37 years of experience working in London and Malaysia covering a wide spectrum of industries including tax consultancy, financial services and manufacturing sectors. She started off her career as an Audit and Tax Consultant with PriceWaterhouse London and PriceWaterhouse Tax Services Sdn Bhd from 1980 to 1989. She then joined Hong Leong Group and held Senior Management positions in various industries involving in strategic business planning and decision making in areas ranging from commercial, financial, corporate restructuring, tax to legal. Her last position in Hong Leong Group was as a Group Financial Controller cum Acting Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Newsprint Industries Sdn Bhd which was part of the Hong Leong Group. During her years in Hong Leong Group, she was also appointed as an Executive Director in some of the subsidiaries within the Hong Leong Group.

Encik Shaifubahrim Mohd Saleh (Encik Shaifubahrim) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Insurance Berhad on 1 April 2019. He also serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee and Member of the Board Risk Committee of RHB Insurance Berhad.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Encik Shaifubahrim has vast knowledge and experience in information technology, investment and Small & Medium Enterprises business. He held various Senior Management positions in the information technology industry with more than 30 years. During the years in the information technology industry, he was appointed as President/Chief Executive Officer of Persatuan Industri Kumputer Malaysia (PIKOM), President/Chief Business Officer of REDtone Telecommunications Sdn Bhd and Chairman/Partner of Pritchett Rummler-Brache Malaysia. He has also held other key positions including Managing Director of Cisco Malaysia, Banyan Systems and General Data as well as Sales Director of ORACLE Systems Malaysia.
Encik Shaifubahrim is currently the Director, Chief Executive Officer International of Gamat Emas Sdn Bhd, a company specialising in health lifestyle/supplements and export business. He is also the Chairman of Frontline Resources Sdn Bhd which is involved in ICT systems integration, consultancy and investments.

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
Mr Kong Shu Yin (Mr Kong) was appointed as the Managing Director (MD) of RHB Insurance Berhad on 13 March 2011.
Mr Kong holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Malaya and is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, United Kingdom and Malaysian Insurance Institute, Malaysia.
He has 30 years of experience in the insurance business. Prior to joining RHB Insurance Berhad, he was with one of the largest general insurers in Malaysia, in various capacities including Chief Executive Officer. He also has experience with the Thailand and Indonesian insurance markets.
He is currently the Chairman of ISM Insurance Services Malaysia Berhad, an organisation established by the insurance and takaful industry to provide statistical services to its members and the public. He is also a member of the Management Committee of Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM).

Dato’ Siow graduated with a Master in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium in 1981 and holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, which he obtained in 1978. He has also attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School in 1997.
Dato’ Siow began his career in investment banking with Malaysian International Merchant Bankers Berhad in 1981 and has advised on various types of corporate finance transactions. From 1985 to 1993, he worked for Permata Chartered Merchant Bank Berhad (now known as Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad) first as a manager and later as the Divisional Head of its Corporate Finance Division. Between 1993 and 2006, he was with the Securities Commission (SC) where he has served as the Director of its Issues and Investment Division, Director of Market Supervision Division and Executive Director in the Office of the SC Chairman.
He was previously a board member of UMW Holdings Berhad, Citibank Berhad and Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan).

Datuk Seri Dr Govindan graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Hons) from University of Malaya followed by a Master degree in Policy Science from University of Saitama. Datuk Seri Dr Govindan then obtained LLB (Hons) from University of London and the Certificate in Legal Practice (Malaysia). He received a PhD in Economics from University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom and a Certificate in Advanced Management from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
During his tenure in the Government, Datuk Seri Dr Govindan served on several Boards among others Malaysia Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Malaysia Property Incorporated (MPI) and Malaysia Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT).
Datuk Seri Dr Govindan had a full civil service career as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer with the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), Prime Minister’s Department till his retirement from Government service in 2011. His last position in the EPU was as Deputy Director General and Head of the National Economic Action Council (NEAC) Secretariat undertaking work towards overcoming the 1997 Asian financial crisis.
After his retirement from the civil service in 2011, Datuk Seri Dr Govindan served as the Group Chief Executive Officer of RAM Holdings Berhad. He was also the Chairman of the Bond Pricing Agency (BPA) Board, RAM Credit Information Services Board and as Director on the RAM Holdings and RAM Rating Services Boards.

Datuk Iain retired as the Country Chairman of Shell Malaysia Limited on 31 March 2021. He is a proven leader who has extensive experience and held a broad range of roles over the past 30 years in Shell’s exploration and production, gas and downstream businesses both in Malaysia as well as abroad.
He joined Sarawak Shell Berhad as a Field Engineer in 1990 before moving on to undertake various engineering, business development and corporate roles based in Malaysia, Singapore and Netherlands. His areas of responsibilities included governance of LNG and Chemicals joint ventures in Malaysia, Middle East, China and Russia. He was appointed as a Board Director of Singapore’s Economic Development Board in 2009 and served till 2012 when he returned to Malaysia as Chairman and Managing Director of Sarawak Shell Berhad and Sabah Shell Petroleum.

Dato’ Abd Rahman started his career with Maybank Group, and held various positions within the Group, most notably, the position of Chief Executive Officer / President Director for PT Bank Maybank Nusa International. His last position with the Maybank Group was as the Chief Credit Officer for which he was responsible in formulating and implementing the Credit Management framework and strategies as well as maintaining a healthy Group Loan portfolio.
In 2013, he was appointed as Director in Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad Group. Prior to joining RHB Banking Group, he was the Group Managing Director for Amanah Raya Berhad overseeing the various businesses and operations of Amanah Raya Berhad and its subsidiaries.
Dato’ Abd Rahman has extensive experience in banking specifically on Credit Management. He has attended various courses and programmes commensurate with his knowledge and experience such as ICLIF, Leadership Energy Summit Asia and Corporate Governance for Development Financial Institutions under Bank Negara Malaysia, World Capital Market Symposium by Securities Commission Malaysia and the World Islamic Economic Forum. Aside from being an Advocate & Solicitor at High Court of Malaya, he is also a practicing Advocate & Solicitor at the Federal Court of Australia and Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia.
He had previously practiced at Baker & McKenzie in Sydney and returned to Malaysia in 1993 to continue his practice at Zaid Ibrahim & Co. Dato’ Foong was made a partner in 1996 where he was subsequently appointed the Head of the Corporate & Commercial and Foreign Investment of Zaid Ibrahim & Co.
Dato’ Foong has been involved in structuring and executing major mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and joint ventures in various industry groups which comprise manufacturing, property, construction, telecommunications, food and newsprint industries.

Dato’ Adissadikin Ali (“Dato’ Adissadikin”) was appointed as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (“MD/CEO”) of RHB Islamic Bank on 1 August 2016.
He started his career with the Renong Group of Companies in various positions within the Group. In 1999, he joined Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad, the National Asset Management arm which was established as a pre-emptive measure to avert the deterioration of Malaysia’s banking industry. After four years with Danaharta, Dato’ Adissadikin joined Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad as Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer.
Thereon, Dato’ Adissadikin accumulated experience in formulating and executing corporate strategic plan, business process re-engineering as well as bank-wide transformation programme. Dato’ Adissadikin was involved in the turn-around of Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad.
He was appointed the President / Chief Executive Officer of Export-Import Bank of Malaysia (EXIM) in October 2010 and served until June 2015. Prior to joining RHB Banking Group in August 2016, he was the Chief Executive Officer at Alkhair International Islamic Bank Berhad, the first foreign Islamic Bank in Malaysia.

Ms Ong began her career with Deloitte Haskins & Sells (DH&S) in London in 1978, prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) in 1991 as Senior Manager. At PwC, she built the IT audit practice, an integral part of the firm’s financial audit services. She was then appointed as Partner/Senior Executive Director of PwC in 1993 and was the Business Continuity Management and Information Security Practice Leader for PwC Malaysia.
Ms Ong has over 30 years of experience in providing Business Continuity Management, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Technology Risk and Governance, and Data Privacy services in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Her extensive experience includes collaboration with regulators, government ministries and agencies, organisations in various sectors encompassing financial services, telecommunications and multimedia, energy, capital markets, transportation, aviation, manufacturing & trading, cyber security, provident fund and sovereign fund as well as nongovernmental organisations.

As Managing Director/Regional head of Group Asset Management, Eliza Ong upholds the responsibility for the overall management and strategic direction of the business. Eliza joined OSK Holdings Berhad in 2002 as the Personal Assistant to the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. During her tenure, she was involved in many aspects of the business such as the building and growing of the wealth management business covering asset management, unit trust, private banking and the trustee business regionally across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong.
Prior to that, she worked with EPIC Securities in Australia as a Research Assistant before moving to National Australia Bank Limited. Dr. Ngo Get Ping ("Dr. Ngo") graduated from University of Oxford, United Kingdom, with DPhil in Metallurgy in 1984. He was given the best student award by the Institute of Civil Engineers, United Kingdom, in 1980 for his outstanding academic achievements.
In 1986, after a short stint with a soil specialist construction firm, Dr. Ngo joined GIC (Singapore) Pte Ltd as an Investment Officer specializing in North America securities investments and in bonds and currency investments in Europe. He then joined James Capel Asia Pte Ltd as an Associate Director from 1988 to 1993, where he was involved in Europe and Australian equities markets. Subsequently, Dr. Ngo was attached to Nomura Securities Singapore Pte Ltd as a Senior Vice President, where he was in charge of equities in Asia Market ex-Japan from 1994 to 1996. Prior to his retirement in 2006, Dr. Ngo was the Head of Sales and Executive Director/Deputy Country Head of CLSA Singapore Pte Ltd, a leading independent brokerage and investment group in Asia for a period of 10 years, where he oversaw the marketing team for equities market.
Dr. Ngo has vast experience in the securities and investment-banking arena, spending over 20 years of his career in various global financial institutions. He has a wide range of experience in the regional financial industry, including securities broking, corporate finance, share underwriting and placement, corporate re-structuring and equity capital markets. His regional experience in the capital markets will be valuable to the Bank, particularly in its aspiration to become a leading investment bank in the region. Dr. Ngo is a person with integrity and is a well-respected individual in the securities and investment banking industry in Singapore.

Dato’ Darawati Hussain was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Chairman of RHBAM on 28 May 2020.
She holds a bachelors’ degree in Economics and Accountancy from Durham University, UK and also Master in Business Administration from London Business School, UK. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Dato’ Darawati Hussain is a Director of Syalin Sdn Bhd., a family investment office. Formerly with CIMB Group, her last position was as Director, Fund and Co-Investor Relations under the Group Strategy and Strategic Investments Division (CIMB GSSI).
She has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, asset management and private equity. Darawati first joined the corporate advisory team of CIMB Group (Malaysia) where she specialised in mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions. She also spent five years in London where she was a European equities portfolio manager for a US fund management company with asset under management (AUM) worth US$70 billion.
In 2001, she rejoined CIMB Group to set-up and develop the private equity franchise formerly known as CIMB Private Equity and Venture Capital and in particular, driving the initiative to set-up the Shariah-compliant private equity funds. She also serves as Chairman of RHB Private Equity Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and as an Independent Board Member of Magna Prima Berhad, Mesiniaga Berhad, Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad (MAVCAP) and RHB Investment Bank Berhad. She is also a Director of RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd and RHB Islamic International Asset Management Berhad.
She is also a Director of several private-limited companies involved in a diverse range of businesses namely strategic crisis management communication and HSE consultancy. She was formerly an Independent Non-Executive Board member for Tanah Makmur Berhad, Asiamet Education Group Berhad, Global Maritime Ventures Berhad and the Investment Committee of BIMB Investment Management Berhad.

Mr Foo San Kan was the Country Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Malaysia from 1997 to 2002 before he retired as a practicing accountant. Syed Ahmad Taufik Albar holds a Master of Economics and a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) from International Islamic University Malaysia. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA), UK as well as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
He has 20 years of experience as an accountant and a finance professional with domestic and international exposures in oil & gas, mobile telecommunications, and infrastructure, property development and construction. He started his finance career with Shell and worked in various Shell offices in Malaysia, Australia and The Netherlands.
Prior to joining RHB, he was the Group Chief Financial Officer of UEM Group Berhad and Chief Financial Officer of Smart Axiata (Cambodia) before that.
Currently, he leads RHB Group Finance and oversees the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the finance functions across the Group. He also oversees the functions of Loan Recovery as well as Group Procurement and Services.
His other directorships in public companies include RHB Investment Ltd (Singapore), Banfora Pte Ltd (Singapore), RHB (Philippines) Inc and RHB Trustees Berhad.

Mr Tony Chieng Siong Ung holds a Master of Business Administration specializing in Finance from University of Southern Queensland and professional certification from The Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA). In addition, he is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) registered with the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM).
He has more than 23 years of experience in financial services industry encompassing hands on experience in day to day operations of trusteeship such as unit trust funds, PDS, REITs, Estate Administrations, Will & Wasiat and Private Trust; custodian roles such as trade settlement and corporate action, fund accounting, asset management, stock broking and insurance.
He is responsible for overall business direction and management of RHB Trustees Berhad and Malaysian Trustees Berhad, including but not limited to business development and day-to-day operations for UTF, REITS, PDS, Sukuk, Bonds, Estate Administrations, Wills & Wasiat and Private Trust.

Mr Foo San Kan was the Country Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Malaysia from 1997 to 2002 before he retired as a practicing accountant. He has 34 years of experience in the accounting profession, the first 4 years in the U.K. and the other 30 years were spent in various positions in Ernst & Young offices in East and West Malaysia. He is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales as well as the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia.
Since retiring from Ernst & Young, he has been active in the corporate sector.
He was an Independent Non-Executive Director of OSK Investment Bank Berhad from 29 January 2007 to 30 April 2013 and was the Chairman of the Investment Bank from 29 January 2012 to 30 April 2013 prior to its merger with RHB Investment Bank Berhad.
His other directorships in public companies include RHB Trustees Berhad and PJ Development Holdings Berhad.

As Managing Director/Regional Head of Group Asset Management, Eliza Ong upholds the responsibility for the overall management and strategic direction of the business. Eliza joined OSK Holdings Berhad in 2002 as the Personal Assistant to the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. During her tenure, she was involved in many aspects of the business such as the building and growing of the wealth management business covering asset management, unit trust, private banking and the trustee business regionally across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong.
Prior to that, she worked with EPIC Securities in Australia as a Research Assistant before moving to National Australia Bank Limited. Here, she held various positions and gained exposure within Global Credit Bureau (with portfolios in Bank and Sovereign Risk), Wholesale Banking as well as the Asset Structuring Department.
Academically, Eliza holds a Master of Business (Banking and Finance) from Monash University, Australia, and is a senior associate member of Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance (AIBF), Certified Treasury and Finance Professional (CTFP) and Certified Financial Planner with FPAM.
