Profile Maintenance
After every update on your profile, you will need to serve the cooling-off period to keep your account safe. No further changes can be made to your profile during this period.
Yes, You can still be able to perform your usual banking transactions and activities, such as checking your balance, transferring funds to recipients and paying bills.
No, your profile will still show the previous information during the cooling-off period.
Unfortunately, you can't undo the changes if a mistake is made. But you can update your profile again with the correct changes after the cooling-off period.
Yes, you'll need to serve the 1-hour cooling period on RHB Mobile and Online Banking whenever your profile's updated.
Your profile will be updated with the information you've provided on RHB Mobile and Online Banking. Additionally, you'll receive a notification via SMS confirming your profile updates.
You can find your email address in your RHB Mobile Banking App profile. Go to Settings > View Profile > Personal Details.
To change or update your email address, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings > View Profile > Update Profile.
2. Enter your new email address and select Verify.
3. Enter the 6-digit One-Time-PIN (OTP) sent to your new email address.
4. Once verified, continue and complete the profile update.
5. Review and submit your changes.
6. Approve the request via Secure Plus.

Your new email address will be updated after a 1-hour cooling-off period.
This helps us confirm your email address is valid, keep you informed with important updates and protect your account from unauthorised changes.
After you update your email address, we’ll send a One-Time PIN (OTP) to that email address. Enter the OTP in RHB Mobile Banking App to confirm your email address. Once verified, your email will be marked as verified in your profile.
It usually takes just a few minutes. Once you enter the correct OTP, your email will be verified. You’ll still need to complete the remaining steps to submit your profile update.
This extra step confirms the email address is valid and belongs to you, helping keep your account secure.
The email OTP is valid for 5 minutes from the time it is sent to your email address.
You can request the email OTP up to 3 times. If you reach the limit, please wait 5 minutes before requesting a new one.
Yes. If you enter an incorrect OTP 3 times, you won’t be able to update your email address for 1 hour.

Note: Only the email update is blocked but you can still make other profile updates.
Yes. You can continue updating your profile, except for your email address. Email verification is only required when changing your email.
No. After verifying, you need to complete and submit your profile update, approve it via Secure Plus, and wait 1 hour for the new email address to appear.
Verifying your email only confirms ownership. If it’s a new email, you still need to review your profile, submit the changes, and wait 1 hour for the update to take effect.
For security reasons, profile changes need your explicit confirmation. This prevents accidental or unauthorised updates and ensures you approve the change. 
No. You only need to verify your email if it’s new or hasn’t been verified before. Other profile updates don’t require email verification.
After verification, you’ll see a success message and a verified icon next to your updated email address. Future notifications will be sent to this email address.
It’s part of our yearly profile check, based on when you last updated your details.
You may tap 'Not Now' to dismiss it temporarily. However, you will continue to see a reminder on your dashboard until your profile is updated. 
If you don’t update it within the reminder period, you will see a profile update prompt that cannot be skipped. You will need to complete the update before continuing to use the RHB Mobile Banking App.
No. Once the update becomes mandatory, the prompt cannot be skipped and must be completed to proceed.
Yes. Even if there are no changes, you’ll need to review and confirm your existing details.
