DuitNow Request

With DuitNow Request, you can request money or payment from anyone by using the payer’s/recipient's bank account number or any DuitNow IDs (e.g. mobile number, MyKad and more).

You can send up to a total of 20 DuitNow Requests, including pending requests. After reaching this limit, you will need at least one pending request to be fulfilled before sending a new one.

You may also send requests to up to 20 payers in a single DuitNow Request transaction, subject to the same overall limit.

The request will expire after 7 days if the payer/recipient does not act on your request. You'll be able to see the expiry date for each request after it's been sent.

You can check and manage all the requests you’ve sent and received via these methods:
a. Tap the 'Services' at the bottom of Home
b. Select 'Payment Request', then select preferred tabs to view pending, past and blocked request.

You may choose to either Pay, Reject or Forward the request to someone else.

When you receive a DuitNow Request from someone, you'll be notified via push* and inbox notifications. If your payer/recipient has fulfilled your request, you'll also be notified via the same methods.

*You must allow permission for push notifications on your mobile device on the RHB Mobile Banking App. Push notifications are only available for iOS and Android (Google supported) mobile operating system.

You can request an amount as low as MYR 0.01 and up to a maximum of MYR 50,000* per day.

*This is subjected to a shared limit with DuitNow Transfer and Interbank Transfer.

Yes, you can block a requestor via the RHB Mobile Banking app by following these steps:
1. When you receive a DuitNow request, select 'Reject'.
2. After rejecting the request, on the status screen, tap 'Block Requestor'.
3. Confirm your action to block future requests from that requestor.
Yes, you can forward a payment request to another person. The original requester will not be notified when you forward the request.
The Split Bill function in the Payment Request to multiple payers allows you to request payments from multiple people and you can choose to divide a bill amount among them conveniently through RHB Mobile Banking by following these steps:

1. Click on the 'Payment Request' at the Services.
2. Select 'Multiple Payers' and choose the payers.
3. You can choose to either input a different amount among the payers, OR enabled the 'Split Equally' toggle and input a total amount to divided equally among the payers.
4. Clicks on 'Submit' after the amounts allocated correctly with all information.
No, you can't cancel a submitted Payment Request. However, unfulfilled request will expire after 7 days.
