Transaction Cooling Off Period (TCOP)
Any transaction that are deemed abnormal (eg. Out of customer normal transaction behavior) by the Fraud Detection System (FDS) will undergo a cooling off period in which the transaction will be placed on hold for 12 hours pending call confirmation before it is released to the beneficiary.

This security feature is intended to protect you from fraudsters/scammers making unauthorised transactions using your account.

Note: There is no minimum amount which will trigger TCOP.
You will see the message in the status screen that the "transaction is pending approval and we'll call you for verification".

On top of the push notification, you will also receive an email notification about the transaction is pending approval.
RHB will contact you to confirm the transaction within 30 minutes (with a minimum of two attempts). Once confirmed, the transaction will be approved and credited to the beneficiary’s account immediately.

If we are unable to reach you, the transaction will remain on hold. After 12 hours, it will be automatically rejected, and the amount will be credited back to your RHB account.
RHB will contact you from this phone number 03-8751 4200.
If the system detects that a transaction made through your online banking account is unusual or deviates from your regular activity, it will be flagged as suspicious. In such cases, we place it on hold for confirmation to protect your financial security.
If your TCOP transaction is confirmed as genuine and approved, you’ll receive a push notification confirming its success. If it’s rejected, you will be notified through both a push notification and an email.
